Temple of San Andres Huayapam Oaxaca

The temple of Huayapam dates back from the 16th century. It was built by the Dominic monks and it is dedicated to San Andres Apostle. The baroque style, the finest, can be seen at this temple; it has gold plated altar and Salomonic columns. It also has paintings and sculptures, two outstanding oil paintings can be admired at this temple: "Jesus tied to the columns" and "Jesus showing a robe".
